Was it just me, or has LW gotten bolder each season? It'll be interesting to see how their rivalry continues to play out - especially given who the main couple of Season 3 is.
There's also the Lady Whistledown of it all! Charlotte wasn't focused on unmasking the mysterious writer during Queen Charlotte, but there's no denying that Whistledown's incessant digs about failing to secure George's line got under her skin. To quote the Dowager Vicountess, her garden is in bloom and needs tending! On a more hopeful note, throughout Queen Charlotte it seemed like Violet might be open to finding a ~male companion~ again after more than a decade of mourning her husband Edmund. I don't see this breaking the friendship between the ton's matchmaking duo, but Violet looked more than a little alarmed when she learned the truth. Bridgerton fans have been hungering to know who the Queen Charlotte cast will include in the upcoming spin-off series which dropped on May 4, 2023. It's not every day that you find out your bestie banged your dad while he was still married to your (admittedly awful) mother. The season ended with ~a certain revelation~ between Lady Danbury and Lady Violet that could make things awkward between them in Season 3 of Bridgerton.
